Adapting Faux Design to Any Interior

It takes an innovative mind to develop an array of material into a unique and customized finish. It takes even more creativity to adapt those finishes to a preexisting interior design concept. By pulling specific colors from current design choices and adding complimentary colors, you can create a finish that communicates with the existing design elements. Here, cork, glitter, and paint were mixed together and applied smoothly using a Japanese trowel. The overall neutral color of the custom finish brings out the similar tones in the fabric swatches, without over powering them.
